Q: What
is the price for a custom mood board? And how do I pay you?
A: Rather than paying
costly designer premiums, my clients will be able to order their custom mood
boards for $200. This includes
a complete visual design plan with specific instructions on every element in
the room. The elements will be numbered with the price and source, along with
additional suggestions and ideas for each element. I accept PayPal as my form
of payment.
Q: When
will I get my custom mood board?
A: Turnaround is one week
after payment is received.
Q: What
do I do with my custom design plan?
A: Every element on the mood board will have specific
instructions enabling you to go at your own pace and budget to complete the
project. I will be available to help with the implementation process and can be
of assistance as a personal shopper for $25/hour.
Q: What if I can't afford to buy everything in the design plan right now?
A: My goal is to provide
you with good quality but reasonably priced items to purchase but the great
thing about mood boards is you can buy things piece by piece to fit into your
budget. Doing it this way enables you to buy things within a specific design
instead of purchasing random pieces that don't work together. Getting a plan FIRST
allows you to put your room together at your pace. If money is no object, then
of course, you can put your plan into effect right away.

need from you, the client:
- A detailed photo of
your space, explaining what your dilemma
is. We'll go through a short question and answer session via e-mail that
will help me better understand your likes and dislikes.
- Inspiration photos of
rooms that you like to give me a sense of your style and tastes.

DeleteWhat a fantastic service! My 14 year old daughter and I have been struggling with too many ideas (but none just right) for her "new" basement bedroom. My only concern is that we are in Canada and might not have access to the lovely items you chose...thought?
ReplyDeleteHi Jen! I would love to help you! Most of the items I choose would be ordered online anyway but I'm not sure about the shipping costs to Canada. The general idea of a room board is to give you direction into how you want the feel of the room to be. Also, you may not end up purchasing every piece that I suggest (you never know if you'll find something similar at your local home goods store that's a better fit!) but having a plan will help you create a more cohesively designed space. :)
