Snooze Eatery (the best breakfast - cinnamon roll pancakes, chilaquiles eggs benedict and blood orange marcaspone stuffed French toast with with orange toffee candied walnuts are my favorites)
Burger Lounge (flat out awesome burgers with all-natural grass fed beef and an epic quinoa burger)
Rincon del Mar (really good seafood tacos - I love the perron, original Ensenada taco and shrimp with red pepper)

The Cottage (cute little place in La Jolla that's great for a weekend breakfast/brunch)
Punjabi Tandoor (our favorite Indian food in SD - chicken vindalu, malai kofta, vegetable samosa)
California Burrito (best bean burrito, rolled beef tacos with guacamole and California burritos - if you're into that)
Cucina Urbana (creamy polenta board, foraged mushroom pizza, short rib burger)
