picnic at the park

I'm so behind on blogging so here's my catch-up! Last weekend, we went over to one of the many parks by Lake Sammamish by our house. It was one of the last few sunny days and the weather had the perfect fall "bite" in the air. The boys loved playing by the water and looking for "treasures" (you know, sticks, clam shells, leafs, rocks... typical boy stuff). Then we had hot dogs and potato salad and watched the sun start to go down, which made those beautiful fall leaves create the most stunning golden glow. I really felt like life is really, really good in that moment. I love my family!
