americana up in here
So excited about this upcoming Independence Day! I'm not one to go "all out" decorating for holidays other than Christmas but I did do a couple of festive things. I got out my Crate and Barrell striped placemats and a red vase which I filled with blue hydrangeas and white stocks (two of my favorites).
Then the other day, while watching a few episodes of Royal Pains (why do I watch that show? It's so cheesy.) I whipped together this little banner out of IKEA fabric. I like it.
My parents and my brother and sister-in-law are staying with us for the holiday. We're heading to Coronado Island for the patriotic parade and then we'll head to our usual spot to watch the fireworks. I love the 4th of July in San Diego. It's practically perfect in every way. Happy Birthday America!

Love the banner! Those are so fun and so simple. I'm excited about tomorrow since it'll be my first 4th of July in San Diego. Can't wait to see what it's like here!
